Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie: A Book Recommendation
Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie
Hallowe’en Party is an unputdownable mystery novel written by Agatha Christie. It revolves around a Halloween party organized in the fictional village of Woodleigh Common.
The story takes an intriguing turn when a young girl named Joyce Reynolds is found dead during the party, drowned in a tub of bobbing apples.
The renowned detective Hercule Poirot is called upon to investigate the shocking child murder. As he delves into the lives of the party attendees, he uncovers a deluge of secrets, hidden motives, and a web of deceit.
With his sharp intellect and meticulous observation, Poirot unravels the complex puzzle and exposes the truth behind the Hallowe’en Party murder.
I was very impressed by how layered the mystery was. Brava!
But to everything that happens there has to be a past. A past which is by now incorporated in today, but which existed yesterday or last month or last year. The present is nearly always rooted in the past.
