The Hidden Tunnel by Eva Pohler: A Book Recommendation

The Hidden Tunnel

The Hidden Tunnel by Eva Pohler

The Hidden Tunnel is the fourth book in Eva Pohler’s “Mystery House” series, which is about three retired ladies who restore and flip haunted houses. They have become self-proclaimed “ghost healers” as they solve paranormal mysteries and help lost souls find closure so they can move on.

This installment of the series is set in Portland, Oregon where Ellen, Sue, and Tanya have been enlisted to help find a billionaireโ€™s missing brother. If theyโ€™re able to find the missing man, the handsome billionaire promises to give the ladies his latest development projectโ€”a historical carriage house.

What unfolds is an insidious plot about human trafficking going back almost a century. The ghost healers must rely on their keen senses and a little paranormal help to solve this mystery.

Wow! I think this has been my favorite story so far. These ladies have a knack for solving mysteries and giving closure to loved ones. I was saddened by some of the events in the beginning and towards the end that took place but Iโ€™m so very happy for everyone. Looking forward to next installment.

If youโ€™re giving The Hidden Tunnel as a gift, here are a few things to consider:

The vibes are adventurous, emotional, mysterious, and reflective with a medium pace.

Itโ€™s the perfect book for anyone who loves Golden Girls and Nancy Drew! Itโ€™s also fun for those who may or may not believe in ghosts, and who enjoy historical mysteries.

I love the art style of the โ€œMystery Houseโ€ series covers! Iโ€™ve only read these books via Kindle so far, but my plan is to own the tangible books when I build my home library.
